Characteristics of Micro DC Motor

  • DC Motor
    A DC motor is a rotary motor that converts direct current electrical energy into mechanical energy.

  • Structure of a DC Motor
    The structure of a DC motor consists of two main parts: the stator and the rotor.

  • Stator
    The stator is the stationary part of the motor during operation. Its main function is to generate a magnetic field and is composed of the housing, main poles, commutator poles, end covers, bearings, and brush assembly.

  • Rotor
    The rotor is the rotating part of the motor during operation. Its primary function is to generate electromagnetic torque and induced electromotive force. It serves as the key component for energy conversion in a DC motor, and is often referred to as the armature. The rotor consists of the shaft, armature core, armature windings, commutator, and fan.

Note:

  1. HM Motor standard products do not come with a junction box. If you need a gear motor with a junction box, please specify it in your order and refer to the attached diagram to indicate the direction of the junction box.
  2. HM Motor can adjust the junction box to one of four directions: up, down, left, or right, according to customer requirements. If no special request is made by the customer, the junction box will be set to face down by default when leaving the factory. The details are as follows:
